Data Deletion

Two taps. Done.

Effective June 2, 2026  ·  Last updated June 2, 2026

Your data lives on your device — not ours. Here's exactly how to wipe it.

1. Where your data lives

ManagedPainCare is a local-only app. Everything you log — pain levels, medications, journal entries, profile information — is stored on your device. We do not operate a backend, server, or cloud database for user data. There is nothing on our side to delete.

What this means. You don't need to email us, fill out a form, or wait for a response. Deletion happens entirely on your device, instantly, under your control.

2. How to delete all your data

To wipe every piece of personal data ManagedPainCare has stored on your device:

  1. Open ManagedPainCare on your device
  2. Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen
  3. Tap Settings
  4. Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom
  5. Tap Delete all data
  6. Confirm twice — this action cannot be undone
This is irreversible. Once you confirm the second time, all your logs, medications, journal entries, and profile information are wiped immediately. There is no recovery, no backup, no "undo." The app will return to its first-launch state, identical to a fresh install.

3. What gets deleted

The Delete all data action wipes the following from your device:

4. What is kept

One thing is preserved after Delete all data: the app's medication reference catalog. This is a public list of drug names sourced from RxNorm, maintained by the US National Library of Medicine.

The reference catalog contains no personal information about you — it's the same drug name list every ManagedPainCare user sees. It's kept on your device so the app doesn't need to re-download it the next time you set up a profile. If you uninstall the app, this reference catalog is removed along with the app.

5. Alternative: uninstall the app

If you prefer, you can also uninstall ManagedPainCare from your device through your phone's system settings:

Uninstalling the app removes all app data, including the reference catalog, from your device.

6. Account deletion

ManagedPainCare does not have user accounts. There is no signup, no login, no password, no cloud-stored profile. Deleting your data on your device is the complete deletion. There is no separate account on our servers to close.
